Tom has also been featured in each of the past eight years for having some of the highest verdicts in New York State . In 2015, Tom obtained a $2.5 million verdict against Richmond University Medical Center for misdiagnosing a patient with cancer when she actually had a benign tumor. Tom also obtained a $1.5 million verdict for a rider on Brooklyn's iconic Cyclone rollercoaster who sustained a neck injury. Tom has now obtained 18 verdicts over one million dollars since starting his career in 1995.
